Terms and Conditions

Lanka Proposals (Lankaproposals.lk) is the Matrimonial Services Provider for all Sri Lankans. In order to access the Lankaproposals.lk ("Site"), you must register as a member of the Site ("Member") read and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Agreement").
If you wish to become a Member and communicate with other Members and make use of the Lankaproposals.lk site service ("Service"), read these Terms of Use and follow the instructions in the Registration process and you have to have minimum one active profile in your account. This Agreement sets out the legally binding terms for your membership.
We Lankaproposals.lk may modify this Agreement from time to time, effective upon notice to you as a Member.
Eligibility
You must be of legal marriageable age or over as per the laws of the country you reside in, to register as a member of Lankaproposals.lk As this for Sri Lankans only, you must be over at least 18 years. By using this Site, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into this Agreement and to abide by all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
Account/Password
You will receive a password and Profile ID upon completing the service's registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and account, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account.You agree to,
(1) immediately notify Lankaproposals.lk of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security,
(2) ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session.
Lankaproposals.lk cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this requirement.
Use of your Account/ Membership
Your Membership is only for your personal use and will not to be assigned, transferred, licensed or shared to be use by any other person/entity. You are responsible for the Content You post or transmit through Lankaproposals.lk site and service.
Your membership will automatically be terminated if you send, at Lankaproposals.lk ’s discretion, inappropriate message(s) or unsolicited mails to other members.
The messages sent to members of the opposite gender should be only for the purpose of finding a life partner. You are not allowed to misuse the site and service for the purpose of friendship, pen-pal, e-pal, dating or even flirting etc.
You will not post or transmit any content, information or copyrighted materials without the prior consent of the person holding its proprietary or licensed rights. You will not use this site for illegal activities of any kind deemed by the governing local law enforcements.

Lankaproposals.lk owns and retains proprietary rights and the service at Lankaproposals.lk . The site contains the copyrighted material, logo, trademarks, and other proprietary information of Lankaproposals.lk
You may not post, distribute, or reproduce in any way any copyrighted material, trademarks, or other proprietary information without obtaining the prior written consent of the owner of such proprietary rights.
You understand that all information, data, text, photographs, graphics, messages, audio, video or other materials ("Content"), whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, are the sole responsibility of the person from which such Content originated. This means that you, and not Lankaproposals.lk , are entirely responsible for all content that you upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available via this site.
Member Disputes
You are solely responsible for your interactions with other Lankaproposals.lk Members. Lankaproposals.lk reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor disputes between you and other Members.
Disclaimers
Lankaproposals.lk is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate Content posted on the Site or in connection with the Lankaproposals.lk Service, whether caused by Users, Members or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized neither in the Service, nor for the conduct of any User and/or Member of the Lankaproposals.lk Service whether online or offline.
Lankaproposals.lk assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, User and/or Member communications. Lankaproposals.lk is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line-systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof, including injury or damage to Users and/or Members or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in connection with the Lankaproposals.lk Site and/or in connection with the Lankaproposals.lk Service.
Under no circumstances will Lankaproposals.lk be responsible for any loss or damage resulting from anyone's use of the Site or the Service and/or any Content posted on the Lankaproposals.lk Site or transmitted to Lankaproposals.lk Members.
The exchange of matrimonial profile(s) through or by Lankaproposals.lk should not in any way be construed as any matrimonial offer and/or recommendation from/by Lankaproposals.lk . Lankaproposals.lk shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to any individual arising out of, or subsequent to, matrimonial relations established pursuant to the use of Lankaproposals.lk . Lankaproposals.lk cannot guarantee and does not promise any specific results from use of the Site and/or the Lankaproposals.lk Service.
Limitation on Liability
Except in jurisdictions where such provisions are restricted, in no event will Lankaproposals.lk be liable to you or any third person for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special or punitive damages, including also lost profits arising from your use of the Site or the Lankaproposals.lk Service, even if Lankaproposals.lk has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained here in, Lankaproposals.lk , liability to you for any cause whatsoever, and regardless of the form of the action, will at all times be limited to the amount paid, if any, by you to Lankaproposals.lk, for the Service during the term of membership.
